Ikea spokesperson announced that ‘In various large cities in Romania there is potential to open IKEA stores’ & Iasi & Brasov were previous considerations. The existing store in Baneasa, Bucharest is still serving a large number of visitors, & the trend of upgrading interiors appears to be growing fast. Ikea also has plans to invest in other cities but no time frame has been announced to the public domain.
